Mir Shakrul Alam Simanto

Mir Simanto is the Managing Director of RuposhiBD Group, one of the largest business conglomerates in Bangladesh. He is actively involved in strategic planning, commercial development, and corporate governance. He demonstrated entrepreneurial leadership as the Director of Mir Filling Station & LPG during his early career, guiding the company through politically turbulent times. He is an active member of the Bogura Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he contributes to the growth of the private sector and supports the regional economic development.

He achieved a significant milestone in his career by becoming the youngest Director of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to be elected in the country's history. This achievement was a testament to the national confidence in his leadership and vision. His election is a testament to his ability to lead beyond the corporate world and contribute to the expansion of one of the most prominent sports institutions in the country.

Mir Simanto is profoundly committed to public service and social development, in addition to his business leadership. He formally entered mainstream politics with the objective of promoting sustainable development and empowering young people. Presently, he is the Student Affairs Secretary of Shibganj Upazila BNP. He has dedicated numerous years to assisting the residents of both Shibganj Upazila and Mokamtola Upazila through political participation and social initiatives. His persistent advocacy for their interests has earned him the trust and respect of the local community.

Mir Simanto is the President and Secretary of two distinct foundations that concentrate on humanitarian issues, social welfare, and education.
